The First Day
Your skin is freshly inked and beginning the healing journey.
Here’s how to care for it right away:
• Leave the bandage on for 2–4 hours (or as advised).
• Wash your hands first, then gently cleanse your tattoo with the soap provided and lukewarm water.
• Pat dry with a clean towel — never rub.
• Apply a thin layer of the healing ointment included in your kit.
• Avoid tight clothing over the area and let it breathe.
Your tattoo may feel warm, tender, or slightly swollen — that’s normal for day one.
Healing Process
Over the next few days and weeks, your tattoo will go through visible changes:
• Expect light scabbing and flaking — do not pick or scratch.
• Clean the area gently 1–2 times a day and reapply a thin layer of ointment as needed.
• Stay away from pools, saunas, hot tubs, and direct sunlight.
• Avoid excessive movement or stretching of the tattooed skin.
Healing typically takes 2–4 weeks, but your skin may continue settling for a bit longer.

Special Attention
A few extra notes to keep your ink looking its best:
• Sun protection is essential — after it heals, always apply SPF to prevent fading.
• Listen to your body — if anything feels unusual (excessive redness, swelling, or pain), contact me or a medical professional.
• Keep your tattoo clean, hydrated, and cared for — it’s now a part of you, and it deserves love.
